With funemployment, you lose certain benefits. Benefits like medical insurance. But you gain other benefits. Like waking up on a Monday morning and driving to the forest to live in it for a few days.

We ate like kings. I planned on photographing all of our meals, because they were all going to be so great, but I didn’t get a chance. I was too busy stuffing my face.

Right next to the campground was a gorgeous meadow and the short trail to Little Crater Lake.

The Bluest of blues

I haven’t been able to get this lake out of my head. A beautiful blue 34 degrees. Be sure to check out the sign a few photos down explaining how it was created — it’s nuts.
